Refund and Return Policy
Our Approach
Every Nithyam calendar is made by hand and inspected before it leaves our studio. We take quality seriously. If something is not right when your order arrives, we will make it right. This policy explains how.
Returns
We accept returns of unused, undamaged products within 7 days of confirmed delivery. To initiate a return, WhatsApp us at +91 95853 82557 or write to us at hello@nithyam.shop within 7 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and a photograph of the product.
To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. Products that have been mounted on a wall, had markers removed and reinstalled, or show signs of use are not eligible for return.
Once we confirm your return request, we will arrange for the product to be picked up from your address. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.
Damaged or
Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged - whether due to transit or a manufacturing defect - please WhatsApp us a photograph of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you. We do not require you to return the damaged product in most cases.
A manufacturing defect includes broken markers, a cracked board, incorrect language labelling, or incomplete assembly. Natural variation in wood grain and finish tone are not defects.
Wrong Product Received
If you receive a product that is different from what you ordered - a different language edition or colour - please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photograph. We will dispatch the correct product and arrange collection of the incorrect one at no cost to you.
Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected by our team, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
For damaged or defective products, where we offer a replacement, we will dispatch the replacement within 3–5 business days of confirmation.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement for a full refund. After 12 hours, production or packing may have begun and cancellation may not be possible. If you wish to cancel, contact us immediately at hello@nithyam.shop or WhatsApp us at +91 95853 82557 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Corporate and
Bulk Orders
Corporate orders of 10 units or more are non-refundable once production has begun. Cancellation of a corporate order after advance payment and production confirmation will result in forfeiture of the advance. If the product arrives damaged or defective, we will replace the affected units at no charge.
Gifting Orders
If a product was ordered as a gift and sent directly to the recipient, the same return and refund terms apply. The person who placed the order is responsible for initiating the return. We are happy to work with you on the logistics in gifting situations - please write to us and we will find the best resolution.
